Launch of East Sussex FRS’s new Euro 5 Volvo FLL-15 fire appliances

East Sussex Fire Authority introduced fourteen JDC–bodied state-of-the-art Volvo FLL-15 Euro 5 fire appliances with an official launch held at The Royal Pavilion, Brighton. 

Designed and built in record time by John Dennis Coachbuilders, the vehicles feature the high-quality finish which is the company’s standard – tilt and slide shelving, multiplexed electrics, all-welded construction and superb paint finish. 

The event was attended by local dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Fire Authority, Councillor Mike Murphy, the Vice Lord Lieutenant, Peter Field, the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Carol Theobald and the Vice Chairman of the Fire Authority, Ted Kemble.
