Darley pumps

Around 100 years ago when the Dennis brothers started building fire engines in the UK the Darley family started to build fire engines and related equipment in the USA. With a common history JDC have formed a strong working relationship with Darley and we work together in areas such as Polybilt.

Darley are famous for their pumps which always have at least a 15% margin over their advertised rating which increases their usable life. We particularly like their Dolphin floating pump. It can be carried by two people to any hard to reach source of water such as streams, ponds and swimming pools and is the most powerful floating pump on the market.

At large incidents equipment can be on site for many days operating at full bore and most fire vehicles need refuelling with diesel. It makes sense to use pumps that also run on diesel rather than needing the additional logistics of bringing in petrol too. Light weight portable diesel pumps are a Darley speciality.
